The letter says: "Dear Ms. Alma Flor Ada, Hi my name is Jay-lenn and I am in second grade and I'm 9. Also, I love the book 'My Name is Maria Isabell.' I loved the part that Maria signs the Hanukkah song. And last year in my school every body was calling me Jayleen but now I told them that my name is Jaylenn. I really love your books, why don't you come to our class room some day? And I like Maria because she's just like me because sometimes I get shy and Maria looks shy to me and how did you write all of those books? Did someone help you? I think I should be a writer someday.
